Driver CPC Training

Driver CPC, or Certificate of Professional Competence Training is mandatory for all UK drivers of vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. That means all commercial and private HGV, buses, coaches or other vehicles exceeding this weight.

To get your CPC you must complete 35 hours training every 5 years.

Training is usually completed in 5 modules of 7 hour blocks.

Lorry-driver.com modules are run in full-day or evening split sessions.

It doesn't matter if you do a week's intensive training every 5 years, or you spread out the training for example doing one 7 hour course a year over the whole period.​​​​​
